who handles your information

This is the official website of how r u, the music project of Thom Southern. The site is hosted through Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure for its database and image storage. Resend delivers the newsletter and confirmation emails. These providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver its emails; processing is not guaranteed to take place exclusively in the UK or EU.

Newsletter addresses are not sold or shared for other people’s marketing.

media & external websites

YouTube videos load only after you choose to play them. Video thumbnails may be requested from YouTube when a page loads. Playing an embedded video connects you to YouTube, whose own privacy and cookie policies apply. Music, social and other external links take you to the relevant service, with its own privacy practices.

essential site data

Essential security data helps protect the site and newsletter form from abuse. The artist login uses an essential session cookie. This site does not require a visitor account to read the journal or listen through the linked services.
